I'd love positionals if a 3rd party wouldn't ruin my gameplay. Like you can true north in most cases but it feels so frustrating when a tank suddenly decides to tank a boss in the wrong direction which makes you unable to attack the rear x)

As far as a comparison to an ultimate, there is no readily available resource that gives a raw value to the exact total HP (that I am aware of) seen in those fights in which to compare the value shown in the linked explanation. The game never really felt like a consistent world without holes in it to me, and I think that's just part of it being a modern themepark MMO where, compared to older MMOs, at least, everything outside of dungeons, major hubs, raids, may as well not exist beyond MSQ progression.

It's a heavily neglected part of the game. FF14 is just a fast food esque game and that heavily impacts how the story is told. I'd love for that to change one day but I doubt it will.```

Garlemald deserved an expansion of its own, and there's enough story and land there it would have been perfect, with Zodiark being the final boss, and then the slow discovery and beginning of The Final Days could have been the patch quests (and with how little content was actually on the moon, that zone easily could have been added in the patches as a Eureka type thing even), and then the final expansion would have been dealing with The Final Days as a massive threat that's envevloping everything as we see it slowly destroy the world, with that expansions zones being Labyrinthos and then maybe some reworks of existing zones that are all destroyed or ruined or something.

As-is, Endwalker definitely feels rushed. They just try and tell way too much story and while it succeeds for the most part, it's pretty rough and imo probably the worst presented story since 1.0 or the 2.x patches.

Also, there's no reason for Thavnair at all. Even expanded to two expansion, we didn't need to go there. Having a pointless zone and a pointless city in an expansion where they're already struggling to include the story that does matter is just a bizarre design decision that I'd love to hear justified, as I just don't get it. Removing that area and spending more time on the Garlemald arc would have done the EW story wonders.```

The most annoying fights so far for me are that first boss in the story level 90 dungeon and that a rank lizard that rotates around while switching between left and right arm attacks that seem to have 1 billion ylm range.

Either way, trying to figure out how time travel works is mostly an exercise in futility||

||As for Elidibus learning it, he was obsessed with G’raha’s memories from the future and his summoning spell. But, also being part of the Crystal Tower now, it seemed he was more aware of parts and components, and then just used his own memories for the coordinates to Elpis.||

Elidibus had a lot more knowledge to put to understanding it, as well as literally nothing to do in the meantime, while G'raha was establishing a nation instead of just learning it.||

||Also, aether is aether, not really any 'types' of aether. Having Elidibus' soul in it gave it a lot more juice though, which got eaten up in establishing the portal||

After enough tweaks he finally managed to succeed, and contacted us, but I can’t remember if it was explicitly stated if he got it working 100% or if it was just a potential fluke and he wasn’t gonna risk anymore testing now that he got his intended target. Either way, Elidibus figures out how to use and adapt that when he went about summoning the other WoLs||
