||but perhaps thats my main grudge with venat overshadowing my better judgement... i dislike the fact that she simply placed her own will on the star, deciding over other peoples lives... in a way, shes the same as meteion. whos venat to decide on the fate of an entite civilization, reducing them to a shell of what they were... she does mention shortly after the trial that it was no action "of love or justice (paraphrasing)" but it doesnt get elaborated on further... i feel conflicted about it.||

||Closed loops themselves are usually a form of parables that "we can't change the past", but parallel universes are "lol let's change the past to save the future"||

To live is to Suffer. And, again, she would see us live and love the world and prevent us from seeking perfection, because in perfection there is no life||

ok so heres my thoughts (i dont mean to put the expansion down, its an enjoyable experience, but the latter parts was somewhat weak)
||1. "kill" off all characters in scenes in which the characters act so upset and shocked even though its obvious that theyll return, thus making it have little impact
2. meteion keeps saying the same doom and gloom things that we already got in elpis, theres never a larger elaboration, something to make her more understandable/sympathizeable. shes entirely evil, unlike emet for example, and its the same picture from all of the civilizations we talk to (its just friendship&love from the scions and doom&gloom from meteion, without nuance...)
thoughts on this? am i wrong? i want to be...||

||I actually liked the later parts but was extremely over the mid part with Radz-a-han and the final days. Idk, I just felt like for what had been built up to be the end of the world that it'd sure didn't feel like it for how casual most of it felt to me imo||

Stormblood always felt off to me bc it seemed liek they were just fitting in everything they needed to cover to be able to move on. Once we got out of the final days stuff, everything felt like it was back on track||

there's a sidequest in first half of Labyrinthos, where I have to carry a box and closely follow an npc who's moving at slightly slower than walking speed.

except he leads you on the path where you can get aggroed by a mob right at the very end, and you can't finish the "escort" while in combat, and you can't fight becuase you're carrying a box. Dropping the box means you have to go back to the starting to pick it up but then you stray too far from the npc who's at the destination and he also teleport back to the start. Which means you have to do it all over again.

This has been be the most irritating quest I've done since ||Sage Council||

No. That gear is level 90 ilvl. You can just equip it at 89 with reduced stats

And fill in your chest/pants with raid gear

And buy crafted accessories

so by week two I'll generally have tome body or legs, normal raid hands, feet, head and it used to be waist and ring but now just one ring and.. a spare? replacement accessory for a bad one or for an alt job

but yeah, big brain is crafting plus you can flush some money into overmelding

Imo they both just as good but for different reason.

Both expac have their highs and lows, tho while shb highs and lows were much consistent and its lows are not that bad.

EW lows can be a down right drag, looking at you lvl 88 msq and the loporite introduction quest.

But at the same time imo EW high moment is much much better than shb
