||from my understanding as its metions realm, she harbours any negative emotion, in this case mainly despair, so my guess is when the scions share those emotions with the inhabitants she unmakes the souls of those and become part of the world she has created as to relieve them from their pain, ||

||The real reason why they choose it is because you can press onward the world where it happens is a world where emotions forge a path ahead, you can only "start when you see the end", the ultimate power of Azem is only invoked when the 3 other powers that Azem holds via the powers that Hydealyn gave you are activated, Friendship, Courage and Knowledge. With their sacrifices those 3 powers are invoked triggering the only thing Meteion is weak aganst, Joy and Happiness and when that happened, she herself asks you to end it all, hence the names of the final 2 MSQ duties, The Dead Ends (Dungeon) and The Final Day (Trial).||

Always remember, when you encounter a dead end, always try to forge a another path ahead and press onward.

Meteion saw all the flowers she saw from the past and that triggered her positive emotion and that was the real reason why she asks you to end it all as a true friend of her, she realised she simply forgot her positive ones after meeting you in the past.|| "To start you must see the end", nothing holds more true then the sad story of ||Meteion||.....
