It's locked in the sense when you kill a boss you can't get loot again that week for it. But you being there to help someone else out doesnt fuck up how much loot is dropped per say. Like in FF where if i clear one week, and in the same week i go to another group to kill a boss they lose a whole chest from me alone clearing the boss. Which really sucks, and prevents people from joining pf's etc.

So okay for an example.. I was doing mythic Seige of Orgrimmar back in the day. In like five months of clearing, Sha of Pride didn't drop my trinket. Not once. Ever.
In 14, I can be BIS in all savage stuff in like 6 to 8 weeks.

BOT's are profitable. For the people who are running them. With the Boosts in games the ROI is very high its insane. Say Company X bans them. If the people botted for 6 months cost them 50 dollars to start up an account and get to botting and made 500 dollars off the account, thats a huge ROI in that time.

You ban that bot. They just make a new account. Who profits? the Bot and the company who is getting more money for it.

IMO as someone who has forayed into Game Development.. the best way to combat bots, is actually more social than anything.. and getting rid of centralized auction houses.

How about instead of a market board. You had to place an NPC in say your house or apartment people would have to travel too to buy items, it would suck.. but it would make it alot harder for bots to make money it would require the bots owners to interact, or get chat bots, but we could detect chat bots relatively easy
