Imo I've always argued they could treat Blu spells like cross-class skills. Since now we can save spell loadouts it makes my concept even easier to figure. First you select the desired role, whether that be by means of a dialogue or designated bars. Each spell has a role association, one or multiple, and you are required to have a minimal amount of your chosen role's spells. Then you have an amount of free slots, which can be any spell. Naturally some of your actions are prefilled with that branch of role actions. So Tanks still have tank skills, casters still have caster skills, and healers still have healer skills.

You get the flexibility of Blu class fantasy / current selection but the solidarity of standard jobs. And I think at this point any argument of 'op spells' is pretty mute. Since obviously even a 4/8 blu party is still constrained by role bonuses and spell types.

You can do it in 40 minutes solo, just by chain aoeing the mobs outside the second aetheryte you unlock in Bozja. I timed it, tested it, and that's before knowing more optimal methods.

Like, remember that m-viera happened because of public pressure for m-viera (just like how m-miqo and femroe happened in 2.0 for similar reasons). It's entirely possible that if enough fools yell about m-viera being too short then adjustments will happen before 6.0.
