Which I think is paid off when Omega goes toe to toe with Shinryu and ends in a draw (after which point we spend a raid series having a Budokai Tournament with a Greatest Hits of FF villains for Omega's amusement) and Shinryu-Zenos is then the final boss of Stormblood. Whether or not Shinryu was part of directly/indirectly triggering a Calamity is immaterial; the destructive power of Calamity Bahamut was enough to wreck the realm substantially, and that's even WITH him being held back by Louisoix's own sacrifice play.

I mean, considering how many people are being rendered on the screen at the same time, with this being an MMORPG, it's crazy. It's not feasible.
