@exotic copper So the Ronka thing... in FF5 ronka ias flying city that crashes to the ground, and in FFXIV they refer to the ronkan ruins, but I can't find much else. So it seems that they could be related (although in ff5 it's also called the Lonka ruins, so it could be something different) HOWEVER, in my research it does appear there is a fair bit of story regarding eden that gives more background to the first. So... while I'm not abandoning my theory, I am setting it in stasis until I finish the MSQ and have a better grasp on the story, as well as going through the cutscenes I skipped because I got a duty invite or something during the cutscene or just was in a rush.
