It's not cheating because some fights you just shouldn't use it, better to have oGCDs and just deal normally, but if you can pull sting off for some fights it is part of the strat. That's why sting exists.

You also have to remember that the name Ultima - spell, weapon, etc, is a constant name throughout different things because XIV draws from multiple FF games, and it's a constant theme in a lot of them.

Yeah Basic Instinct + Mimicry let’s you solo pretty much any dungeon with sync to get any remaining spells
