Because at the end of the day he doesn't care at all about holding Gyr Abania and half his men don't either. He mostly killed those guys tho. I have a game designer friend who said that, when he was getting his degree, he did research into XIVs code and said, despite people wanting an updated engine, that would practically mean making a new game. And the same holds true if they wanted upgrade or remaster the graphics too, considering it's being held back by said engine.

Basically the engine we have now has been pushed to its limits and they cannot do any more to innovate and would have to basically make a new game if they wanted to.

The key to keybinding on kbm is to make your shit consistent across jobs, and to keep your most frequently hit stuff in the shortest reach. like, if my hands are on WASD, the best keys for my core abilties are FER34Q. So my 1-2-3 combo on every job is always E->4->3

the GCDs are actually lower yeah cause no more Touch of Death, the oGCDs have stayed about the same cause they removed some when adding others, the buffs and stuff have increased
