@unborn lantern the point of removing belts was because apparently a lot of players just found them annoying. People want equipment items you can see on your character so when a belt dropped in a dungeon people collectively sigh in disappointment

So regarding sleep, it had a use once---in dungeons.

It enabled mass pulling. You'd pull a whole shit ton of mobs, sleep them at the boss arena, and then the wall for the boss would come up before they unslept.
