In 1.0, the UI Dialog was basically generalized to be used in server-side. If i think correctly, they have made it too general to be used server-side, even text were stored serverside, so everytime you tried to open the ui dialog, it would fetch from the server.

I'm basically saying you need a "Fall of Dalamud" tier disaster. Just like the last time time advanced. So basically you need as an example : "We fail at the end of 6.0 and the Final Days are not averted" or (going with the planet parasite route) "Not-Lavos wakes up and causes a worldwide catastrophe/apocalypse in 7.0 or 8.0". I dont think this is likely - just that its the only real windows of opportunity to do it.

There's a few existential threats, potentially, that can do it. But it would be quite difficult and an enormous undertaking development wise. It would have to be a scenario kind of akin to the opening of Doom 2016 - you "survive" the event but wake up years later
