A prediction:
Pandaemonium will turn out to be Lahabrea's old laboratory, now long abandoned after his death but filled with neglected Concepts and maybe other Guardian Forces and such.
Lahabrea's fragmented soul, torn and twisted from having been ripped out of an Ascian Prime and then filtered through Thordan and Shinryu, will possess one of the concepts in Pandaemonium in a repeat of what happened with Proto-Phoenix in Through His Eyes.
This will be a connection to Emperor Mateus in FF2, because:

• Mateus is the Emperor's real name, and Mateus is Lahabrea's counterpart in XII.
• Pandaemonium's first appearance in Final Fantasy is the fortress the Emperor manifests after becoming ruler of hell.

This will be the extent of the FF2 refs though, the rest will be original.

Might connect to other instances of Pandaemonium throughout the series.
