In the mythical irl stuff Artemis eventually evolved into a goddess of the hunt, stuff like the statues posted above indicate that she started out as a fertility goddess, lots of goddesses do. Overtime as several Medi cultures came together Artemis eventually evolved into a hunting goddess (which still promotes family since hunters provide for their children by hunting food for them etc.)

Ya stormblood they wanted to speed up the process of raids as HW and ARR raids trash and a 1 hallway mini dungeon were not really interesting and offered nothing to the experience of the raid.

And rather than put in stuff to make people care about the stuff preceding the boss they focused entirely on the bosses. Which is fair, the fights are fun. I don't mind how 14 does stuff. But by other standards the raids are only raids in name only. They are basically harder trials, and in Stormblood they were at their most boring which is why i became so disillusioned with the format

But like, even small walking sections preceding a fight can help with the feeling of the place. Why couldn't we get a small section preceding the Ramuh fight where we fight the Ixion adds in the thunder plains and get hints at the bosses mechanics?

The compromise I have always been asking for. is, Normal mode have a hallway before the boss. and savage go straight to the boss. As honestly I am a sucker and QoL has made it so I dont think I'd stomach going back to the old way of Raids. Even tho my favorite "Content" Is BA, Eureka, Bozja, Dr. ect. and those have the raid aesthetic down.
