But basically, you have huge defamation AoEs as debuffs on players, which if you get hit by a defamation you get a debuff that makes a defamation go off on you when it runs out. A defamation going off on you gives you a buff which prevents the next defamation application from happening on you. At the end of the mechanic the boss casts something which gives everyone a defamation debuff, so you plan to have some people pass/get it before then to nullify the application there and have enough room for other people to blow up after the cast without hitting everyone
alongside this you also have stack markers with delayed timings going off that you have to resolve. And in HW2 you have nisi which you need to keep alive throughout the mechanic so at the end you can pass it to three people and have them take towers with it
