You grind up aetherpool levels to spend on "Grips" to exchange for a Padjali weapon, which you would then upgrade to Kinna with more grips

You do need to have beaten floor 100 at least once to unlock the ability to get Kinna weapons

it only bugs out on Viera/Hrothgar if you try to make them wear helmets that are normally invisible on them, for the most part.

You can dye the items when they're in the dresser too. Which is recommended if you're using more expensive dyes

If you dye a piece inside the glamour plate, the dye only applies on that particular glamour plate

The chest can only drop from one chest after the second boss and then the final boss chest

And it's a massive pool of drops since it includes all chest/leg pieces and the first chest also includes accessories
