Ok not sure if this is the place to ask this, but so I really like the drachen armor set, but wanted mine to be black like etiniens, instead of purple, so I spent the time crafting the augmented set and such, but when I dyed it soot black it looks like a completely different material!

Super dissapointing, not the inky deep color of the default set, it reflects on everything and just looks light grey because of lighting. Is it worth buying the jet black ink? It doesn't look that different in the preview but am I just out of luck?

I always thought Estinien's set was just a really dark shade of purple, you could try the darkest purple shades and see if it does anything for you before you try an expensive dye

Also, preview definitely will sometimes look too different because there isn't any lighting in the window when you preview it, so stuff like metallic surfaces come out a little different than the preview lets on, especially in direct lighting
