Recommendation: setup a hotkey (like backslash) that disables your whole hud then get in the habit of hitting it before hitting your screenshot key.

And you could do similar stuff if you used photoshop

You don't modify the game data as a gear/face mod will do so you can't call it a mod, if that's what you are thinking about

@celest briar Gshade is super easy to use. Very very user friendly and there are plenty of presets that are strictly for screenshots or for gameplay. The installation is effortless too.

I basically used a custom reshade for 4 years into switching over the other day and I wish I did sooner because not only did it carry over my custom reshade as it's own preset I got a ton of community presets to play around with too.

But yes, Gshade and the sort certainly isnt needed, Here is a HW screenshot from 5 years ago

Also some people might be using mods along with /gpose

Usally you can gauge what is modded or not like if you see someone wearing a black dress with a pentagram strappy top with the skirt part being slightly shorter than the Valentine dress (SE pls...) it is most likely a mod :v

But yeah /gpose and/or mods ´ w`

gpose can also be started by going to the “Extra” section in the skills/ability menu

Seeing the talk about healers dpsing I feel the difference is a boss taking 10 seconds longer vs an 8 second fight, but then lets say the boss has a mechanic that activates in those last two seconds that turns the fight from say, 2mins to 5mins or 10mins thats my view of it

That extra DPS helped defeat a boss before its mechanic took place that would of made the fight significantly longer \o/

under actions and traits > extras

and you can use shaders and 3rd party tools for posing your character

but learning to take photos mostly comes with time and research
