I mean I have to admit. I absolutely love the whole direction of the Classes I PvP. Some of them even feels more of the class itself than their PvE CounterPart.
I absolute love the RDM direction where you can choose to actively choose between damage and Support in Split seconds

or if I should be trying to keep cure stacks spent
misery contributes a lot afaik
you just use cure to save when you can
its not a core requirement to keep em on cd
generally your gameplan is to get glares off, use misery on cd preferably on 2+ targets
look for low hp opponents getting bursted and poly them
look for opportunities to seraph strike on cd near your part
it gives a 10% dmg mit for 10s on a 20s cd so keep that shit up as much as you can
the free cure 3 is icing on the cake
every 60s you are looking for someone 50% hp or lower to kill with lb+misery+seraph
dont try to hit 5 man faze clan lbs just kill somebody anybody
your main source of dmg is gonna be your chat quick commands
usually even non receptive teammates will be inclined to follow your lead if you are on point with saving with aqua/cure and getting kills with lb/poly/misery

i've been playing bard in CC and i'm not quite happy with how their casted spell prevents use of the self heal
just feels a tiny tiny bit clunky
but I feel like bard doesn't have kill potential
just consistent DPS
thought about switching to WHM and start looking at climbing ranked
every match had a WAR and WHM so far, on both teams
brd has silence right
oh yea they do 20s cd 25y range
thats incredible kill potential
its less about the job doing the dmg to kill, more that they have a good CC that you can use to enable kills for your team
yeah i've been timing it to use right after the stage knockup that does a bunch of damage when they land
and trying to hit it when targets are low HP
just gotta make sure your team is following thru
i've kinda approached it somewhat like WoW PVP where you really want to try and silence a healer's heal
but that seems not applicable here
youll get better at reading the match and understanding when burst comes as you play

Best they can do is lay a turret in their escape route, but that’s a turret you’re not throwing at the enemy

the shop is so convoluted I don't want to spend 2 hours painstakingly browsing every item
The orchestrion rolls might be good money as they’re tradable
The weapons are all new items and are high-res
The armor is high-res versions of various job gear sets
The accessories are old PVP ranked rewards
all the framers add portrait elements related to that job
The Wolf Collars can be used to trade for a weapon from the vendor right by the crystal one
As far as we know, the crystal vendor items are all here to stay so there’s no “priority” to buying
Just get what you like
I bought mostly framers, the minion/rolls, and the BLM weapon

The problem with CC for levelling is that you can't hotswap your job

Tested RPR after the buff and it feels good. Pretty much get to LB during every fight at least once. It charges crazy fast now.

We were on the crystal all five of us for 15 seconds during overtime nothing happens
You have to push your progress further than the enemy team did
So if you’re both at 50
You have to push 50.01

they should have made the first 2 hits low DOT damage, but huge +%increase DOT damage buff
so that you need to land all 3 hits on one person
and have to hit them all within a short time-frame
so that your 3rd melee hit does high dot damage
being buffed from the first 2 melee hits that +%increase DOT damage
Idk, deep freeze isn't useful if the opponent is in the middle of CC immunity, or if you don't have teammates following up. You just don't have enough self burst to capitalize on it, especially since it costs either a 20s cd or 7.5s of casting.
However, Freeze is the absolute nuts during LB since you can just jam it into the brawl
As with any other CC, you have to capitalize on using it, and know when to pop it. However, even without limit break, you can deepfreeze 2 players on a team pretty easily.
For the maximum amount (3 seconds)
But you're right, it's not a dueling class. It's not meant to burst down people by itself.
man your team really makes a big difference. As a WAR I actually don't play on the crystal all the time unless I notice no one on my team is on it.
I actually try to harass and keep the other teams backline support and ranged out of the frontline so they can win.
I don't actually know if this is a good strat as WAR but I guess it depends on the game
If I can 2v1 in the back for long enough I just hope the front can win a 4v3 and then snowball from there
and I also just aoe stun the front line whenever I get a chance lol

If you're split, and solo, it might not be the play. It's situational. Securing a kill to stagger team rezzes can be huge

I started seeing the same players over and over, so I started remembering how each person played
I'm seeing same players but it's only like 20% of the time
Yeah. If your team has no focus/ability to swap to a new focus target, it sucks
esp as WAR cuz we have no damage really, except when we LB
marking people really helps me pay attention, but I don't feel confident in target calling
I usually mark the top two priority targets at the beginning of the match
So when I see a 1 or 2 go up, it's easy to focus
and try to focus on them

I would say it's honestly pretty fun and like the person above said. You really should try the mode out for yourself and Decide

its the best its ever been, and the design direction theyve shown is good. Its designed around an objective based game mode which I think is cool, shares similarities with something like a moba or a hero shooter where the game revolves around using high impact, high cooldown limit breaks effectively to secure advantage.
You dont have to grind gear. Everyone's on the same playing field.

If DOTs reacted to guard there wouldn't have been an issue with RDM's damage
RDM is such a squishy class that just gets focused because it has very little defensive abilities that can be used while outputting offensive damage
technically they could always just reduce verflare damage then add scorch if they wanted to be lazy 
to make up for lost damage

I went from D1 qualifier to crystal to D5 no stars
and got stuck in D5 for awhile.

I refuse to accept that the nerf to RDM wasn't overboard.
We literally saw minor buffs across the board ranging from 1k - 5k potency increase with the highest going to classes that really needed it.
RDM literally lost 7.2k damage in a single patch. That's a pretty drastic fucking drop when you consider that the highest I think anyone even received was 5k across a few skills for DNC or GNB I think

Furthermore, since WHM got nerfed I saw a lot more double-healers in matches now since most people were playing WHM and you can't get 2 of the same job on one team
So losing that 7.2k damage is even a bigger deal when having to deal with 2-healer comps
I can still see RDM doing well, maybe, in coordinated teams 5v5
but 7.2k loss is pretty scuffed
They also lost GCD advantage with silence dropping from 3sec to 2sec
Rdm dealt too much damage in a burst, come on. Not even mnk, drg or sam dealt that much damage in 3 gcds.

Either way. I agree that RDM damage needed a nerf, but the DOT damage being OP is because DOT damage isn't reactive.
Instead, part of that damage should have been redistributed to other parts of it's kit to make up for that loss. In a way that, it's more easy for devs to code so that active mitigation can reduce incoming damage

it's fully possible to get Chiten debuff'd despite no Chiten showing on sam bar yet
