Your GCDs are your combos, known as weaponskills on WAR. Abilities are you oGCDs. You cans ee this classication on your tooltips. Your whole goal is to keep your GCD rolling while weaving your oGCDs in when you can. Watch a good few guides to help get you there to understand this more
