One of the things to remember as a red is you may need to adjust a bit n/s in the same direction of deep blue in order to avoid getting sniped by the reverse followups, so if deep blue is to the south, take a few steps south so the reverse doesn't hit you

if deep blue is to the north, take a few steps north

it shouldn't be mandatory but it helps if the blue ranged/healer are too far inside
