Wrt potting it’s often not so much “this saves you from seeing enrage on a bad pull” it’s a hedge against seeing the mechanic that will wipe you on a mediocre pull

You don’t do it in prog but when you’re ready to clear the 5k Gil of grade 3 pots you spend to get the clear is easily worth the 10 minutes of your time to not wipe with 1% left on boss at 9:45 in a pull that could have died at 9:30 if people potted

But also yea, a 0.2% enrage becomes a clear and you can say potting isnt the only issue, but it ultimately was a thing that could have saved it still that didn’t happen
