quick question from a returner - how do I actually logistically get into the endgame? I've been browsing PF and most savage groups want 770 (full crafted) while Most Ex. Groups want 760. Hitting 770 is kind of financially unobtainable for me with crafters selling their stuff for millions of gil a slot. 760 doesn't seem to be too difficult of a barrier comparatively but Mistwake only drops 755 gear meanwhile the current Arcadion Normal drops 770 but is on a weekly lockout. So like... what do I do? Am I just kinda boned until I can farm enough weekly timegated currency and arcadion tokens?

the gear prices will drop pretty sharply soon but unfortunately yeah there's a pretty high cost of entry early on unless you have a very generous friend to make you a set with tome mats provided

If you can't afford the new crafted set, then your best bet is going to be the normal raids and the weekly locked tomes. Depending on what the rest of your gear is, you might also find some value in getting the 750 Mathematics tome gear and then augmenting that to 760

760 is pretty easy to get, buy tome gear with maths then augment it with glaze/charge using AR coins or hunt currency
