I'm not overly familiar with the exact data the API returns but from what I can tell, it contains a base potency and a damage multiplier in which positional bonuses are not included? so xiva creates a set of possible potencies from combo buffs, personal buffs, etc, and if the reported potency of the action to be analyzed does not appear within that set, it must be because a positional was landed
