For example: You normally use your short mit on a TB, but due to shenanigans you used it on a dps so they live, telling your healer "hey, imma have 10% less mits on the next TB" lets them prepare for you taking more damage
Or, you normally mit a raidwide, but you used the mit earlier because shit looked like it was going south, calling out that your mit won't be up for the raidwide lets the healers know that they need to press some extra buttons
But it being useful also depends on your healers ability to adjust, and if the fight even lets them have those extra resources
If they have nothing left then you may just explode anyway
