In my personal experience, the amount of bots I've seen has been negligible enough compared to actual human FTs such that the restrictions do feel outdated and unnecessary. Maybe bots are worse on DCs outside NA, idk, but FTs not being able to even Party up does get frustrating when trying to get friends into the game
