You can easily see ping delay by casting a spell while moving
For my average ping, it usually interrupts around 0.2-0.3 seconds into the cast

Entirely dependent on your delay
Slide casting works based on your current latency to the server
since everything is slightly ahead of itself when it finally gets to your client

noclippy is entirely different since it changes the animation lock to be a hard lock. Makes it easier to weave, but also changes mechanics around so slide casting an be harder.

only ilvl & their level matter on combat jobs
so rather give a job that you main, so you can give it your old gear whenever you earn new ones

for example you're level 90 DRK & level 60 PLD
your retainer is a PLD
it can only go up to level 60.

As such, the Home World Transfer Service will resume on Tuesday, 19 July at 7:00 (GMT) / 8:00 (BST) / 17:00 (AEST). Moreover, all characters in Japanese data centers will be eligible to use the Home World Transfer Service free of charge for approximately two weeks.
