It's not so much that it's difficult as it is that, as with every other X5 dungeon, that is the point at which the previous expansion's tomestone gear has a sharp drop off in effectiveness, making it a struggle for tanks and healers who are attempting the content for the first time.

If you're the tank, just be aware of your limitations and pull accordingly. This might mean that you can't pull w2w, but instead can only pull one or two packs at a time.

Unfortunately no, that's just generally how those heads interact with hats. The helmets aren't designed around the individual species, generally, apart from several helmets that the devs gave a kind of "ear sock" to for, like, elezen or miqote. But like Kat said, either the helmet hides the horns entirely, or the horns clip through the helmet.

So, the "good party member" is debatable. The in-game Mentor status isn't something you earn by being good or knowledgeable at the game, nor are there any standards to which Mentors are held beyond normal standards players are also held to by ToS. It's earned by completing a checklist, which a person can be carried through just as well as actually doing it themselves.

So as long as you're on pace with your MSQ progress, there's no real benefit to leveling up "faster".
