You can play with friends from level 1, but the main story doesn't merge until the quest level reaches 15. There's a specific quest where all three main city stories merge.

Yes. There are three main cities in the game, and which one you start in is determined by your starting class.

Up until you reach a certain point, you cannot travel to the other cities, or (in the case of Ul'dah and Gridania) you can, but only by walking through extremely high level zones.

So you'll be on your own until MSQ level 15

GUYS. So I am trying to make a steam only account through steam free trial launcher yes. But I accidentally clicked the login to try to login to my windows version of free trial at first and so it wont let me create the steam free trial anymore (no button selection for it). How do I get the option back? Reinstalling doesnt work. I heard that you can delete a specific file to reset it but I have no clue which one it is

When 6.2 hits, Aphorism will become obsolete and not be given out anymore. Astronomy will effectively replace Aphorism as the uncapped tomestone while Causality will be the new capped tomestone

its just the main use of it is the dps limit break because it does damage, whereas healer limit break is healing and if at limit break rank 3, a mass raise, and the tank limit break reduces dmg taken by the party

I’m raids/trials, how do the tanks decide who’s the MT and who’s the OT? Should I turn my tank stance off as soon as someone else has aggro? I’m only just getting into this stuff, I’m sure this is a super dumb question, sorry!

usually one of the tank will turn their stand on, people default his/her to be MT, the OT keep their stance off, after the fight started for 30s, OT turn their stance on, this is to make sure they never take the lead enmity from MT but still be ready to become MT if he die

and of course there is add phase, mechanic that target second in enmity list, OT need to deal with those so eventually both will have their stance on

In most cases yes, but some people try to show you they're the "alpha tank" by stealing your enmity and spinning the boss as the other person mentioned, in that case it's best to turn it off yourself to save yourself the headache
