Look for stuff in your inventory that has a "Shop Selling Price" listed. That means an NPC somewhere sells the item for that price.
For most of those that cost less than 1000 gil, they're super easy to get back and are generally worthless to hold on for extended amounts of time.

Kaiten was a button that served 3 purposes
- It was a mandatory weave
- It was a kenki management tool
- It applied to job aesthetic
People are upset it does make the job a bit easier, though not by much. It removes having a minimum amount of gauge for burst windows, therefore making kenki management a bit more vestigial.
It also made the bar ONLY used for shinten (and the gapcloser, sure), which makes it feel more tacked on since there's no management besides 'do not overcap'.
Lastly, Kaiten is the first of a two-part animation on SAM. It used to have an animation that directly led into the Iaijutsu sheathe -> attack. Removing this is weird enough, but many people are upset because it was felt good. Job feel is a thing people undervalued in Kaiten until it was gone.

I usually use WeskAlber's guides when playing a class and, just following "his" lvl 60 opener guide, the only thing different from when I played SAM in the past is hitting Kaiten before an Iaijutsu

Their system doesn't allow duplicate emails, but it's also case sensitive. I reused an email for a trial account by capitalizing the first letter of the address, and it works fine.
It was telephone support who told me to do this.

@stiff knot fair warning, the way the game works is you play the main story of an expansion x.0 then you have to play the patch story x.1-x.5 which is the epilogue of that expansion and prologue of the next one. All the stuff in the patch content was level cap when it was released so your exp gains will slow down dramatically

Aside from that, there's not much else that you, personally can do. It's on the healer to git gud.

If the healer is getting hit by Swinge, you can tell them to stand behind the boss for that mechanic so they don't get hit.

It's better not to think of the expansions as "dlc" like you'd see in a single-player console game, since that has connotations of addon content separate from the rest of the game. Expansions are just as much the main game as the base ARR content.

basically think of need as "priority i want this", greed as "i want this but will prob just sell it or something, not actually use it" and pass as "i don't want this". You can only need on gear you can currently use for your job, and if one person needs and everyone else greeds then it 100% goes to the needer. If 2 people need and 2 people greed, then it's 50% between the two needers
If 4 people greed and 0 people need, it's 25% between the greeders.

Couple questions about Palace of the Dead, it says we can't proceed to floor 100...
You can't go past floor 100 if you have even one party wipe. If you can get to 100 without a complete party wipe, you can progress to further floors, all the way up to 200. If you have a full party wipe past floor 100, however, that's it. Can't restart from 101, etc. 100 is the normal cap for matching. Matched parties can't go past floor 100. You'll have to start from a lower floor to make another attempt at 100+.

yea like the poetics gear usually can get you basically BiS for a given level, with some caveats ( I think the final tier savage weapon is like 5 item levels above the poetics weapons, and the secondary stats don't matter nearly as much early on )
