Yeah, it helps fill parties that aren't filling quickly, so that people who are doing old content aren't left out in the cold.

But it does take time, since you're not the only person queueing for things like that.

15 minute waits are fairly standard, just be patient and either find things you can do at the same time, or find out-of-game things to do.

Is my best bet to wait for new NA servers/DC and hope I can get his name on one of those? It will put me in a rough spot for raiding next tier so it's not ideal from that sense, but I'm not sure what else to do here.

If I use DC visit, I can visit Primal and go to Diabolos or Leviathan, or to Crystal and visit Balmung or Goblin.

I cannot use DC visit to go to the Chaos datacenter to visit Cerberus, as that is an EU datacenter.

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.
