Honestly your best option is to get at least a couple of other people together and just spam through FATEs. If you can do Endwalker zones, that's easier, since people are still doing FATE spam parties there.

(How) Did BRD change from ShB to EW?
Couple of minor changes, couple of major changes.
Major:
- Procs are song-based, every three seconds at 80% chance, instead of being dot-and-song-dependent.
- Duration changed to 45s, rotation changed to 43/34/43 for WM/MB/AP.
- Bloodletter now has 3 charges, BL procs give half cooldown instead of full
Minor:- Sidewinder and Shadowbite now do flat damage, instead of more damage if target has dots
- Shadowbite procs from QN/Ladonsbite like RA procs from Burst
- Apex gets a finisher, and it is now optimal to hit Apex at less than 100 for proper Blast Arrow alignment with burst
- Barrage adds damage to Shadowbite, but does not grant Shadowbite Ready (which is weird)

I am (was?) a PvP regular and have been playing SMN/SCH for the most part since 6.0. However, I just played FL for the first time on an alt as SMN and the AoE ground marker placement for the Baha LB was behaving completely different and I cannot seem to find the setting(s) that is causing this? When I use a ground marker on my main, the camera doesn't change, but when I do it on my alt, the camera zooms way in right on my character from a low angle and I have to reposition my camera and everything before dropping it. As far as I can tell, everything related to this is set exactly the same (unlocked, cursor speed, limit ring, press 2x) and I use the same camera settings for the most part (but tried fiddling inside the match just to check).

Back when there was only 6 trusts, it was Tank + 3 chars, and DPS + 3 chars. Using Healer + 3 chars did not work out and meant you had to go through many extra dungeons.

I leveled half of my Trusts as a healer, and it took the same amount of time as when I went tank for the other half.

If you level half of the trusts as a healer, you'll have a tank and two DPS at max, and you still need to level two healers and one DPS trusts, right? And you can't bring both those healers along, so you'll have to do a lot of extra dungeons bringing some maxed trusts along

Indeed. I'm trying to figure out now what mistakes you can make to force a fourth set. One constraint is that you're only allowed to be a healer yourself once. And you can never set G'Raha as a healer or else.

I think that's the only mistake you could make.
You'll get best results doing one set as player tank, one as player dps, and one as player healer.
In whatever order you wish.

Also looking at some details of how they prioritize, I'd recommend Alphinaud + Y'shtola + (any) + player tank as one of the groups, since Alphi apparently won't use ||Kardia|| and Y'shtola will Cure II if the tank player's HP drops too low.
And you should make sure that Thancred and Ryne are in the party at the same time, or Thancred can't use his cartridge abilities.
Oh wait, Ryne can't go into EW dungeons at all.

So Thancred has to be with Y'shtola for EW.

Neither one is better or worse than the other, the only major difference is that they do not necessarily have the same sale periods, since the SE store and the Steam store are not connected.
The reason you can only do one or the other is because they both occupy the same license slot on your account, for PC.

Also important to keep in mind is that a player can report another player for literally anything, there's nothing stopping a person from submitting a report in bad faith. But GMs also look at reports and the surrounding circumstances and go "....this person is reporting nothing" and can and do toss reports in the circular file.
The only thing you can control is how you present yourself to other players. If you're genuinely trying to be a decent person, and they get pissed because you dared open your mouth, nothing you can do about that.
So don't worry about it.
