I'm worried about having a worse experience because of less players = less guilds/auctions/etc, but there's also the prime times of each not syncing. Been tearing my hair out with this decision :')

you basically just don't want to be fighting each other for aggro, which is why OT doesn't have it on at the start. After that, securing second in aggro is good in case MT dies or if there's mechanics that target 2nd in aggro (infrequent, but it happens)

If you want to immediately jump into the next raid tier without being ilvl600, you'll have to either pick up crafted gear on release, or slowly gear up through the new normal raid

Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.
