mods are a massive thing to wrap your head around.
If you want ALL gear to be catered to say, your skinnier Aura, then you would need a mod for every single piece of gear you wanted to wear on that character
there is no mod "slider" which can change everything, someone literally needs to edit the models in a 3d editor like blender, in the way you want it, and then upload it online for you do download, then you load into the game, and the game has thousands of models

if you want to adjust body shapes for entire races for literally all gear in the entire game, not possible, without thousands of hours of work, and a lot of disk space on your computer to accomodate those mods

Typically Job Quests are contained within their expansions separately. If you have not reached the next expansion in , you need to continue the main story quests until you reach the next expansion, denoted by giant letters naming said expansion.

Banner of Noble Ends is easy to use most of the time, just make sure you’re at full HP and don’t get hit by stuff.
Banish 3 is great for AoE damage, which is a godsend for doing skirmishes. It also debuffs undead monsters to take even more damage.
Chainspell is a decently powerful damage buff and extremely good mobility, just beware of the MP cost increase. I recommend using Super Ethers.
Seraph Strike is another Damage buff, but has a large and immediate MP cost and also nerfs your healing so make sure you’re not using it at a dangerous moment. Just like with Chainspell you'll want to make use of Super Ethers.

For my general setup as a healer in bozja, I usually run Banish with Noble Ends

And for Dalriada, I go hardcore on the damage buffs and replace Banish with Chainspell usually

For CLL, I keep Banish for the first boss and then swap it off once I get to the 2nd boss

There are raid type FATEs where any number of players can join in and fight. They don't spawn that often but there is a discord dedicated to finding these spawns and when they occur.

Aside from that, there are 24-man alliance raids, but i don't think that's what u're looking for

Yeah, raid-type FATEs like Chi and Daidadipa are the closest i can think of

There's quite a few of those around, yeah. Odin, Ixion, so on.

There's also a sort of story-connected sequence of Fates in the Azim Steppes, which was one of the most enjoyable things I've done in a while in the game. You don't necessarily need 40+ people to do them, but you do need to stick around and complete each one in turn or the chain breaks and resets, and they do get slightly more difficult as they go.

but the stuff they are saying and doing is important later on

the games decent about reminding you later about most stuff at least, so skimming is honestly what i'd recommend

Not sure at what point of the story you're at, but I can also recommend doing some side activities for a change of pace.

Unlock some optional dungeons, level an alt job, visit the gold saucer, etc.

1 chapter of story, time for something else, then back to the story.

Long story. Basically think of BLU as it's own separate minigame. It cannot use the normal party matchmaking (but can join premade groups in party finder) and is locked ten levels behind the current expansion. It's also yet to get the update to bring it up to Shadowbringers. It's main uses are to unlock spells as a 'collectable', has it's own special solo instance whose name I forget, and there is a mount for running an all-BLU raid. Also good for overworld farming/fates and suchlike.

You can swap freely after lv10ish. To start I picked one job of each type. Once you get roulettes, levelling other jobs is easy. I get a job up from 1 by: Run fates and hunting log until you can get into a dungeon, get some gear and run that a few times, remember foodbuff exp and lving roulette. Do job quests when available for easy early gear. Once you hit 30 do your job quest to get your stone and then continue lving as normal but job quest are less important, just make sure an ability isn't locked behind one.

Once you hit 50 finish all your job quests and you get some gear and an item coffer, open the coffer and you get gear with the same looks as what you just got with better stats. For 50-60 spam Palace of the Dead. It's a little fiddle so look up how it works. Get to floor 51-60 so you can restart there and span that for fastest XP to 60 (I think).

This is just for jobs after your first, MSQ gets you one to max easy. It's a little overwhelming when you are new but you get used to it easily enough.

so how exactly does leveling another job work? Like, if I switched from Conjurer to Arcanist at 15, would that effectively reset my level to 1 as long as I'm in that job? And how does it affect the MSQ?

and mostly you just do your hunting log and job quests till you can do roulettes and highest level dungeon spam

all jobs have their own independent levels

it does affect msq in the sense that you won't be able to do it until youre the appropriate level on the new job

so if your msq is 15 and you switch to a lvl 1 class, you will need to be lvl 15 in that class before you can continue msq or switch to a class/job thats 15+
