I read that beast tribe quests are supposed to scale their XP to your level. So I'm doing Kojin quests. My level ~66 SAM got relatively nothing despite being in the level range for stormblood. Why is it not scaling? I got around 68k when it's over a million and a half to level up

for level 81+ thats not true. do 1 quest from elephant people: get nearly 1 mil XP. level 90 XP req is 10 mil roughly. 1/10th of a level at 89 is pretty ok

I just finished all nine Trials of the Braves books, but the quest for the books no longer seems to be in my list (and checking with Gerolt only offers to start other relics). When I try to talk to Jalzahn with my atma weapon and the books done in my inventory, the next quest doesn't unlock.
I'm confused.
(The game tells me to go to Jalzahn when I try to get another book since I have them completed, but he doesn't have a quest I can complete. Celestial Radiance is locked whether I'm holding the Atma weapon or not.)

Selene used to be more of a support pet than a healing pet. It had a silence (silence is now called interrupt), a debuff cleanse, and a minor skill/spell speed buff for the whole party. The first two were unreliable at best and the haste buff was very niche. Eos was usually just a better choice as it had the same actions both fairies share now. A regen and a heal buff.

Regular crafted (or Limbo) is fine to start. The minimum item level for a4s is 580, which is regular crafted. And SE designs the fight to be beatable at the minimum item level. So if 580 isn't working for you, I suspect there's something else at play here.

We get an expansion, that expansions main story is great for levelling. Then for the next 2 years we get more story and side content, all level cap so no exp, then a new expansion releases and the level cap goes up

- These usually have very little exp/gil as reward and are usually just part of the world/lore expansion. Mostly optional unless you are interested in doing them for the fluff
- These are quests you can do more than once, how often you can repeat it is up to the individual quest.
