How do I quickly get out of combat? I queued for a trial for msq as samurai, and as it was going, I switched to astrologian to level it up. I waited 15+ minutes for the queue to pop while I was in a FATE, and it wouldn't let me join or change my class back even as I ran away from the fate.

and if you are synced down to the FATE, you just unsync as well

main stats are always capped, so you're melding secondary stats. the bigger of the two stats on your gear is generally going to be the capped one, so you want to either meld the one that's lesser or meld something thats not on the gear at all

you do the same thing for every expansion, get all previous expansions poetics gear before starting.
You can even keep only poetics gear for the entire expansion if you want (thought it maybe a bit hairy in later dungeons)

Yeah. We used to just be end game raiders in WoW, but for roughly about a year, most of us are still in ARR or HW. Mostly because we fall into the trap of doing EVERY class since one toon can do it all. It also doesn't help that we stopped at ARR to do the end game content there since it's relevant even though it's not current.

reading the most recent EU new worlds notice- i see that you can get 10 gold chocobo feathers for transferring. does the character need to have a certain minimum level to get those? or are gold chocobo mounts character-bound anyway so it doesnt matter unless you transfer your main?

Are there any differences between mounts?
Some mounts allow multiple people (2/4/8) to ride at once, with all mounts having the same movement speed. A partial exception to this rule is the SDS Fenrir, a mount from the Mog Station. The SDS Fenrir acts as if you have the first mount speed boost obtained from completing specific quests in the story, making it a bit faster than other mounts, but only until completing the relevant story quests for that zone.
Can I make my mount faster?
Zones have one or two ranks of mount speed that increase the ground speed of mounts. The first rank comes from completing specific quests in the main scenario quests, with the second rank coming from Riding Maps which are bought with either Allied Seals, Centurio Seals, or Bicolor Gemstones. Mount Speed Boosts do not increase the flying speed of mounts.

You can get about 150k gil per week if you do all dailies every day. Whether that's a lot or not is up to you.
