you can disable plugins outright in the launcher's settings, disable Dalamud in the appropriate settings tab (Dalamud is the plugin system)

Not really. Do your daily roulettes and after that spam the highest level dungeon you can do. Exception are the dungeons on level 50, 60 and so on, they give way less xp

Its easier to find people during prime time. Other than that its a waiting game I guess. You could also try to do stuff unsynched with a friend who has a level 90 job. Especially spells with lower star ratings are rather easy to get unsynched

We get a new major patch every 4 months. Even numbered patches (X.0, X.2, X.4) bring us a new tier of the 8-man raid, and often new Trials. Usually we also get our first relic weapon quests in the X.2 patch as well. Odd numbered patches (X.1, X.3, X.5) bring a new tier of 24-man raid, and usually also include things like tribal quests. All major patches include new MSQ content.

the moment cast bar is done is when damage calculation is done by snapshot
so before, because if you do it after then it wont be counted
its why you can just walk into animations
