Only reason I level crafting was because at first buying a set of gear broke my gil. Now I do it because it's still free. I also tend to avoid the market board as much as humanly possible since I might as well be buying the gear I'm trying to make if I'm gonna spend the same amount buying 10 of a single material I need anyhow.

There isn't one, really. The skill people tend to refer to is Nascent Flash/Bloodwhetting, which heals the player every time a GCD hits an enemy, and which applies for each enemy struck, making it very powerful in mobs.

But the game's high-end content doesn't have massive amounts of mobs in it, so the "overpowered self-sustain" exists only in dungeons and in overworld stuff. And notably, Warriors have less in the way of physical damage reduction skills as compared to other tanks, so it's basically just ... every 25s you're too angry to die, and the amount of damage you're taking doesn't matter too much.
