Okay so I wanted to play the game through steam so I can use my steam wallet.
I played the game through the square enix client on a free trial and when I uninstalled it and downloaded the steam free trial version of the game it told me to log in to my existing square enix account. I did that and now I'm getting an error message for an invalid license and I can't add another square enix account, I only have the option to log in and get the error message.

to play on the steam free trial, you would have to make a new account. no reason to start all over if your intention is to move to the steam full game anyway as you can continue on steam with your SE trial account you just can't use the steam free trial with your current trial account

Are plugins that changes the hug and bars and so on allowed or forbidden? I saw on some youtubevideos some people are using something that's called XIV Launcher it really reminded me on WOW Addons. But im Not sure if it's allowed in ffxiv too?
