My question deals with an issue that I asked about previously: How to get rid of the message "One or more of your client settings files are set to “Read Only,” which prevented your configuration settings and hotbars from being saved. Please check your settings and try again." that frequently pops up while I'm playing. Based on your suggestions, I disabled OneDrive and told Windows Security not to scan the folder where FFXIV is located. But I'm still getting the message quite often. It comes in the middle of awesome cutscenes and battles and social interactions and basically makes the game a little less fun. Honestly, it's the only thing preventing me from buying the full version of the game. Any other suggestions on how I might fix this issue? I have tried removing "Read Only" from all the files in the folder, but it just pops back up to Read Only right afterwards (even though I am an Administrator). It's just a weird annoying thing. Thank you all for listening to me gripe. 😛
