Does it really matter if you can see every buff on your allies, or every debuff on the enemy?
Like for cooldown management, or noticing if X person used Addle so you don't need to, or Y person isn't applying their DoTs, etc.
Or is that kind of thinking outside the scope of XIV's gameplay?

I currently have party buffs set to 10 and Target debuffs set to all.

I don't really see a use in Dungeons or normal Trials, and I haven't touched raids much outside normal raids.

In the moment probably not directly important to be constantly monitoring, but it's a quick way to notice if you're drifting outside the party's buff window, and it can help you make snap decisions such as "do I need to refresh/clip dots in the next GCD or two"

Burst damage drifted outside of the buff windows is a fairly significant chunk of lost DPS.

What I might also advise is to place your debuffs in a location of high visibility on your screen, because quite often those are very important, and missing them can mean party wipes.

For the record I'm not considering disabling buffs/debuffs.

But more so lowering the Party List's total buffs shown from 10 to somewhere lower like 5-6.

And also enabling "show only your debuffs" for the target bar.
I kind of get confused when I see someone elses DoT and think it's mine lol.

All dots look slightly different. But if you get confused by the size, you can either make them larger (I don't recommend this), or notice that yours will always be displayed first (from the left) on the bar, and the timer numbers on your dot/debuff will be blue instead of white.

Yeah I noticed that my debuffs will always be on the left most side.
But If the alliance raid for example has like 4 sages and I'm one of them, it gets confusing lol.
