Class changes are universal, so they wouldn't have changed something one way in the EN version of the game and one way in the FR version, since it's technically all the same game.
It may have just been an oversight by the localization team.

You've probably got more than just 2 months of playable content left. The Trial version of the game is basically everything you get in the Starter minus social features (and with a gil cap), so it's at least four years-worth of content.

Not always because some endgame dungeons are side stories.
The patch notes for each current content patch always tell you where to go to find the new endgame dungeon, and past dungeons don't require such communication because ... well, other players have already found it so the internet exists.

Then here's the information: MSQ patches (whole number X.N patches) always add one new dungeon which is required to re-unlock the Expert roulette. As new dungeons are added in later patches, they'll cycle the oldest dungeons into a second roulette "90 Roulette", keeping only the 3 most recent dungeons in the "Expert Roulette" category.
