if you attempting solo, just make sure you have 99/99 aetherpool before starting, although you probably could start soloing 1-100 if you have like 75+
but It's much faster to farm aetherpool with party, just make a multiple PF clearing 51-100
anything above floor 100 is attuned for people with 99/99 aetherpool

Hard to say because this largely depends on your server's traffic, priorities (RP vs competitive content), the timing in the raid tier... "crafting" as a general answer is quite evergreen, but if you're looking for something non-crafting and non-maps... there's always going for the more expensive diadem materials, or flipping items from different servers where an item is cheaper and then post it on your server where it sells more
Glam sells a lot better on RP-oriented realms, and consumables like food and potions always sell but sell much better earlier in a tier

Starting in ShB, side quests scale to your current level. It does improve the exp yield, somewhat, but ultimately dungeons are better.

Right. The whole reason we had an MSQ roulette in the first place was because no one queues for it intentionally, so there had to be an incentive to get people to run it so new players wouldn't be locked out of MSQ progression.
