If you're doing MSQ on one class, and leveling alt classes on the sides, you should be getting enough Poetics just on a daily basis with roulettes that you refill very quickly.

If you're trying to keep four classes concurrent with MSQ level ... it gets a bit harder lol
But even then, once you hit the end of an expansion, you have the entire time you're doing the patch quest content before the next expansion actually starts where you're "plateaued" at that level, and it's easy to catch up.

So what you're not seeing is all the intermediate raid/tome gear that happened between hitting max level (artifact gear for jobs) and the last floor of that raid series.
