That's usually an internet issue. Using a VPN, or turning yours off if you have one, can sometimes fix it.
The alternate launcher might fix it, but I'm not sure. It might use the same servers to get the latest version.

Varies a lot, like for my server CP7 is worth a good amount, while Craftsmanship 10 is good too

Pomace just changes colors and doesn't accelerate growth. Some plants don't receive any benefits from fertilizer. I think cherry trees can only be a primary color or the default white? I haven't fiddled with flowers much, but if it says it can't take more pomace after one dose then it means only primary colors
There's no known value for just how much fertilizer affects growth. I never bother with it because the differences are minimal

You will need to learn both how the game plays and how your class plays. Shark is right in that you don't need to be the hardest-core of hardcore players to clear it ... but you also won't clear it with a 20% GCD uptime and a bunch of deaths.
Like most higher-end content in the game, it's mostly about maintaining constant damage output while doing a fairly intricate dance routine.
The puzzle you'll need to solve is what the steps of the dance are.

So im curious with raiding in this game. Im not sure if anyone here has played destiny or destiny 2, but im going to compare the raids to destiny. I was a harcore raider in the destiny games and when finding groups to join, they were usually laidback with people who hadnt dont the raids yet and were okay with explaining the mechanics out. Is it the same with FFXIV? Or will groups be expecting you to know what to do. As a new player it is really overwhelming when seeing the amount of raids and the difficulty levels
