You can split out debuffs/effects you receive from enemies into its own separate section and move it where you want.
I would highly advise against hiding it, though.

Could be any number of things. Server issues. Bug fixes. We won't know what, exactly, it's for until maybe after it ends. Sometimes the Lodestone will say what was changed or fixed, although that doesn't happen every time.
Also they'll probably look at server population balance and update the list accordingly.

with that you don't have to need to worry about dying in open world anymore

Most enemies will have a pretty short leash, so you can generally just run past everything to find a quiet spot if you don't feel like fighting.
Once they run far enough from where they started, they'll go back there and leave you alone.
