From what I see it's very parallelizable and can use a lot of threads very lightly across cores if offered (9900K), but also runs just fine on my potato client pc with only a few cores (9600K). 5700X is definitely not something to be worried about if 5800X is any indicator.

Anything new should be able to handle it, game can run on PS4 hardware til 8.0 so if you're overpowering that you're probably be fine

Yeah and ffxiv is in the range of 5-10% of your clock cycles on a 5800X probably. Totally not a concern.

hi, I reached lvl 80 last extension and barely played, now I'm doing the quests in between both extensions (I'm guessing, since they're barely giving any exp and I haven't been to the new areas yet) and I have to do a dungeon (Paghlth'an) for the MSQ but my gear level isn't enough. Are there merchants available before I reach endwalker's town so that I can upgrade my gear ? Or am I just supposed to farm the latest dungeons ?
