You can do them in any order. Also the ARR relic weapon's stats will not matter anyway since the ensuing campaign almost immediately outstrips them.
With the exception of the ShB relic, which I believe is still BiS for one of the ultimates, relic weapons from past campaigns are essentially glamour-only items.

You can also have any and all relic quest chains active at the same time, no need to limit yourself if you have cool-looking weapons you want.
The only restriction is you can't have multiple of the same quest active.
But since you can gain more drops than you need for quest steps that involve dropped items, like the Atma step, you can farm item drops for more than one weapon with a single quest, and then later when you're working a different weapon and get to that step, you basically just accept and immediately turn it in.
The books for the step you're on right now are one of the few spots where it gets weird, because you can only ever have one book at a time.

Relic weapons are 5 item levels higher than the end of expansion max tier tomestone gear, which is what Ironworks is for ARR.

You'd have to do that externally to the game inside your computer's functionality, so that when you press, say, Mouse 5, the computer interprets that as Ctrl and sends that information to the game client.
As far as I'm aware, the game client will not let you reclassify specific buttons as keypress modifiers.

Hi all! I desperately need help with understanding Arcanist. I have no clue how the trance gauge works. The game and official guides are extremely vague with explaining what any of its UI means. I can't find a single ELI5 explanation online of how it works. Its typically people talking about more general strategies rather than talking about what any of it actually means. I just hit level 10 so now I just got aetherflow which is equally confusing. I'm not sure why the active help pages talk about these topics as if you already understand what it is and its purpose 😫
Here's the only information from the wiki and the official job guide. I added my basic questions as edits.
My interpretation is that I cast Aethercharge and this bar appears. But then I have to wait for the timer to count down to zero in order to use something like Summon Ruby? What's the purpose of the timer and waiting for this bar to deplete? Do I have any control over how long it takes for that timer to count down? Does that timer restart or take longer when I get Summon Topaz/Emerald? How long after that timer runs out do I have to use Summon Ruby/Topaz/Emerald?
Any help would be very, very greatly appreciated ❤️

They're not in the normal currency tab because they're "limited" currency. Shared FATEs can be found in: Main Menu > Travel > Shared FATEs
