not very effective in my experience. It's more useful for single-target bleeds or autos. It's also more useful for healing a tank back up after a TB, than mitigating it.

Did you go to the location of the instance?
It's in Zan'rak or Zan'arak (I can never remember which is which).
Because you have to reattune to the aetheryte and run the instance in order to complete the quest.
So if you've completed "Ifrit Bleeds We Can Kill It", then you must have Bowl of Embers (Hard) in your Trials list.

For default settings
Weapon sheathed > can target all (including allies/party members)
Weapon unsheathed > only enemy and npc
You can even make more than 2 settings and switch around mid fight

If you have a level 90 class, regardless of whether you've reached Endwalker or not, you can get endgame currency from doing roulettes as that class.
You just won't be able to use that currency until you reach the end of 6.0

And honestly you could skip most of the unvoiced cutscenes and still pick up on the major plot points.

It's a recent change in design. It was discussed a bit in the Q&A from the LL before last. Something about not wanting to put extra burden on healers when other players that mess up mechanics.
