Gw2 will update without logging in, and you can log into the launcher while it updates, AND you can even play while its still downloading updates lol. Gw2 infrastructure is living in the year 3022.

well if you're going solo ones with the crossed weapons tend to be best, just killing lots of mobs. if you can sustain yourself, boss fates with the face are possible as well
if its not level restricted, lower level fates tend to have more npcs fighting as well

As long as you're lv89 at a certain point in the story, you'll be fine co-leveling classes. There were quite a lot of people who got level-locked from the story because they leveled one class with only the MSQ, and the story outpaced them right there.
If you do some roulettes on a few days and/or turn in a book or two, you should be fine though.

This is unfortunately an issue with the asset resolution for the game's textures. What you're looking at is the actual pixel-sized border of the item's texture
It'll show up the same regardless of the resolution or window size your computer uses.
In order to smooth those edges out, you'd have to find or create a mod that would be capable of subdividing those native pixels and interpreting the new shading of each of the subdivisions contextually with the surrounding pixels' colors.

Not certain.
What they are doing is restructuring those two lv50 contents into solo/trust type instances. But based on past live letters where they hinted at the possibility of these changes, they also said very specifically that they were aware people would miss the large XP gain roulette as a daily option, and would be doing something to compensate for its absence.
