You'll keep your zeta and have access to the replicas

you either need your zeta on hand to buy the replica
or turn it in for that step of Anima to buy replicas
turning it in, is arguably the easier of the two since you don't physically need the zeta in your inventory
you can just go talk to drake to buy the replica whenever
so if you're doing anima, have a zeta completed, you can freely turn it in to skip the first step

You can use them for ogcds (abilities) but be aware they don't queue correctly so you if you hit them during an animation they won't fire
